Being Mary Jane
Being Mary Jane last week was great.
One lesson that just screamed at me was when Mary Jane was
speaking with her co-worker and she exclaimed that she thinks she is not
supposed to get married; “It’s just something that I am not supposed to do, maybe
I just thought I was supposed to do it, like a trained seal!!!.” While I agree that marriage is not for
everyone, this does not seem to be the way for Mary Jane.
Mary Jane is like a lot of other women and people in general
that has a dream and gets rid of it when they come across a few pit falls on
the way to accomplishing that goal. Pit
falls are going to happen; they are just the natural detours of life. Mary Jane falling in love with a married man
and also giving her heart to a man that could take her or leave her, are just
examples of the pit falls of life.
I remember I heard Tyler Perry say during an interview that
chasing your dreams is like following a GPS system towards a destination. The GPS just tells you how to get to your
destination, it does not tell you ahead of time the accident that may happen
and the traffic jam you may come across but it seems to always adapt to the
detours and it continues to move forward.
You must be like that GPS system. Even though you have pitfalls trying to find
the “one”, or starting your business, or whatever your dream may be, it does
not mean you give up on it. It just
means that you may need to tweak things a little which mean change your
perception of things or change how you are moving toward your goal which
usually points back to you doing something differently.
Listen; do not drop your goals/dreams just because you have
a couple of pit falls. The pit falls are
where the lessons and blessings happen.

Beyonce & The Last Supper

If you happen to be black and have made amazing success and a substantial amount of money and you are not mentioning God or Jesus at every moment then you are worshipping the devil or part of the illuminati. There are more Black celebrities on the list for being part of the “Illuminati” than any other racial group. Look up “Illuminati & celebrities” on you tube and the majority of the celebrities mentioned are Black.
So, what does this mean? Well it means that in order for any black person to have garnered substantial notoriety and success they must, must have sold their soul to the devil. It also means that Black people cannot reach a certain level based upon their own talents, gifts, and merit.
The picture that Beyoncé put on Instagram was totally misunderstood. Many people jumped on it and labeled it as evidence that she is against God. Beyoncé is not the first celebrity; they have done this with Oprah, Jay Z, Rihanna, and many others.
What are we saying here when white celebrities can become a huge success and we acknowledge their talent but black celebrities are looked at as suspect and having done something unworthy?
